Reading goals

In a recent post I listed 6 books that I would like to read in 2013. I have to admit, I haven’t got very far, having only just started one yesterday (1Q84, finally!). This is a bit different to setting a goal of reading a certain number of books, which I have also done. If I can combine the two, and make sure the 6 I have listed as must-reads make up part of my 25 book total, I will be happy. And the fact I have already read one of them doesn’t count….

The books I listed are:

1Q84 by Haruki Murakami
A Storm of Swords by George R.R. Martin
The Passage by Justin Cronin
Horns by Joe Hill
Cloud Atlas by David Mitchell
The Man Who Rained by Ali Shaw

Which books do you want to read this year? Are there any on your list that you have already read?
