This image, by Wendy MacNaughton, highlights authors inspiration through pictures, and says as much about their writing careers and personal lives (and our perception of them) as it does about the stories they are famous for writing. I particularly like the image for Lord Byron and also Truman Capote’s (it’s good to have a routine…)
I wonder what my image would be – thinking about what inspires me and what encapsulates my writing style in one little image is quite difficult. I don’t know if I’ve developed enough “personality” as a writer yet to come up with anything as interesting as the examples here.
