Writers write

“A writer is someone for whom writing is more difficult than it is for other people.”

Thomas Mann

This quote seems ridiculous, but I think it’s true. If you’re a writer, it’s much more likely that you will over think what you’re doing, which leads to nothing but difficulty.

…Too much time planning

… Not enough time planning

… A clear idea of the ending, but no idea how to get there

… Obsessed with finding the right notebook and pen

… Getting the characters back stories right

… Crippling self doubt

… Wishing you’d never started

… Worried about grammar

… Is it actually a trilogy?

… Too many ideas

… It’s all been done before, and better

… Not knowing where to start
